On most of the projects below, I was hired as General Contractor, and performed all project management, demolition, framing, insulation, trim and finish carpentry. |

October 2007- December 2007 A design/build commercial project for a new/ old soda fountain and coffee house in downtown Loveland. Design taken from photos of old time soda fountains we researched online and in books. New customer bar and stools, 10’ tall working back bar and 16’ built-in libraries for neighboring business. First project where health department was significantly involved. |

June 2007- November 2007 A desire for a larger, more modern and efficient kitchen led to replacement of most floor covering and upgraded trim and doors in this circa 1990 custom home. New Schroll cabinetry throughout house, new stamped concrete patio and gourmet kitchen were all added with the Geary’s and their 3 children living in the dust free basement. |

May 2007 A woodworker, Ted needed a bit more space for his tools, so we did a typical ‘pop-top’ just above a portion of the garage. New attic-style trusses made up the majority of the framing, while all siding, trim, roof pitch and overhang were precisely matched to make project appear it was built with original house. |

April-May 2007 A 3400 sq ft framing-only job in Fort Collins busy SE side. 6 weeks for completion, we framed the project from foundation and readied it for mechanicals and stucco exterior. Josh also hired me as a ‘partial’ general, paying for my experience and a little of my time, which was a first for us, and worked nicely. |

February 2007- Present A green builder out of Boulder, Merten hired our crew to construct a series of Straw bale homes in the smart Old Town North subdivision. Hired for framing and trim, Merten felt our inherent green mentality was a good match for the green building model they rely on.

July 2006- March 2007 A 3000 sq. ft. tear down and rebuild on an established lot in old town Louisville. We are responsible for demolition, framing, siding, trim and all project management. Typical bungalow style, full finished basement, 5 beds 4 bath. |

February- June 2006 A 1960’s brick ranch in need of an interior facelift, we removed many interior walls to achieve homeowners desire for ADA (wheelchair) accessibility. New kitchen cabinets, 2 new bathrooms, drywall cleanup and repainting, new attached 2-car garage. |

October 2005- June 2006 An older brick house that we partially tore down was ‘built-over’ to allow for a second floor with 3 beds 2 baths. Poured new foundation with Insulated Concrete Forms, new slab in basement to allow for 200 sq. ft. storage. Alder cabinets, beech flooring inside, re-stucco exterior, partial landscaping outside.

June 2005- April 2006 A custom 2200 sq. ft. 3bed 2 bath home in Crystal Lakes, Red Feather. Contracted as a general to frame, install siding and trim structure, as well as schedule and supervise subcontractors. Structural Insulated Panels over a timber-frame roof made this project interesting. |

June- July 2005 Hired to frame, side, roof and trim out a 360 sq. ft. bedroom addition for Anita, which John had provided block foundation. Simple scissor trusses were ordered to match existing roofline and provide a small vaulted ceiling inside. |

May 2005 An extremely expedited schedule for a small 96 sq. ft. laundry room addition with ejector pit and new foundation. Hired just to complete demolition, framing and siding, as well as oversee excavation and foundation pour. |

Jan 2005- April 2005 This project consisted of rebuilding 625 sq. ft. existing attic space, with two non-conforming bedrooms, into a conforming master suite with steam shower and jetted tub with enlarged staircase and egress windows. Although structural work was limited to interior, a floor system had to be built as to not disturb the finished living space below. |

November 2004- March 2005 Hired onto this project to perform all demolition, framing and siding for a 2500 sq. ft. addition/ remodel. Removal of 1600 sq. ft. roof, addition was installed over existing living space. Homeowner acted as General Contractor, hiring all other subcontractors and did some floor framing. This was performed during winter with family living below, requiring special needs to keep home warm and dry. |

May 2004- August 2004 As a General Contractor specializing in high-end modular and panelized homes, Scott hired my company to supply all trim services in 6000 sq. ft. project built by Champion Homes and featured as Country Living Magazine’s ‘2005 Home Of The Year.” Modular construction, an accelerated schedule and little room for error required a crew of 5 to finish this custom home in less than 6 weeks. |

March 2004- August 2004 An attached 450 sq. ft. artist’ studio required to blend in with existing home per HOA. Built off the back of the house, it was a simple 19’ X 22’ addition that included built in cabinetry, gas fireplace and large clean-out sink. Exposed beams supported 4/12 pitch-vaulted roofs, and hardwood floors were installed throughout addition and rest of house. |

February 2004- April 2004 A flood destroyed most of the basement of this 4500 sq. ft. home, and I was hired to finish dry-out procedure and develop plan to bring basement to original condition in effort to receive insurance funds. Very little structural work, but the entire house was nearly gutted and refinished with plaster/ drywall, wood flooring, kitchen and bathroom cabinets, doors, trim and custom staircase. I was hired simply as finish carpenter for this project, as homeowner acted as General Contractor. |
